In a few months the giant, IKEA, will open in Alicante.

IKEA gets increasingly closer to Cumbre del Sol; the Swedish furniture and home products retail giant has already acquired the land for its shop in Alicante.

The company, which has already purchased the land in the district of San Blas, has chosen to open shop in the city of Alicante. Two fundamental factors have led to this wise decision, the residential nature of the vast majority of its future visitors, and the strategic location of the land, close to a large number of concentrations of potential clients.

In view of the high demand for its products in our province, IKEA already had plans to establish itself in Alicante prior to 2006. This was evident by the hundreds of clients from Alicante who visit the 27.000 m2 shop which opened in Murcia in February 2006.

The proximity of this new shop to our residential estate CUMBRE DEL SOL will no doubt lead many of our future clients to customise their apartments and villas with the unmistakable hallmark of this Scandinavian brand.
